The book is made out of Japanese Chiyogami paper with classic colours of red, gold and black. Chiyogami papers are handprinted in Japan with the silkscreen printing technique also used for making Kimonos.

The leather pouch is an elegant black leather with golden accents to match the Japanese paper.

Calligraphy Book

Sizes: A5 (More info in the size chart)

• The outer paper is a Japanese Chiyogami paper. The beautiful design is handprinted in Japan with the silkscreen printing technique also used for making Kimonos.
• Handstitched with a waxed black thread and decorated with a few matching beads
  
• The first page on the inside is a decorative and sustainable red mulberry tissue paper
• The paper on the inside is a white thick 200 gsm paper that will not let the mediums bleed through. It is FSC and EU Eco-label certified

For optimal results, we recommend using: calligraphy pens, pens, markers, gel pens and similar mediums. 

Watercolours can be used with caution and limited water. This is not watercolour paper and therefore very absorbent. Work fast as the water dries quickly.

• Beautiful slick black leather with golden accents to match the elegance of the Japanese Chiyogami paper
• It has 2 pen/pencil/calligraphy pen slots of 2 cm and a larger one of 4 cm to fit in small nib cases or cartridges

• Closure: Gold snap button

The bundle comes without pens or nibs.
