My dream is to build a 100% self-owned indie animated universe, and it all starts right here with Season 1! I’m taking on every single piece: from concept art and character design to 2D animation, original music, and sound design.
With a flexible schedule and plenty of hurdles ahead, I’m targeting a January 2027 launch. You're invited along for the ride to watch the process, grab the creative tools I build along the way, learn from my experiments, and hopefully love the final show. ✨

Character Bio
Ella is a curious, expressive girl coming of age in a bubble of her own imagination. The second an idea takes root, an uncontainable enthusiasm takes over, locking her into a chaotic creative flow.
Driven by a frantic fear that she’ll run out of time to experience her infinite ideas, she dives headfirst into projects without a plan. This gut-led recklessness is both her superpower and her downfall—blinding her to limitations, but making messy, unexpected twists inevitable. Navigating these crashes with ingenuity, perseverance, and a healthy dose of laughter is where her true joy lives.
Her biggest hurdle, however, is a deep fear of judgment from a world that expects her to follow strict rules. To protect her vulnerability, Ella guards her unconventional ways, reserving her true, pure-hearted sunshine personality for her trusted sidekicks—the select few who celebrate her chaotic genius and always have her back.

Ella is definitely having an identity crisis but the more I define her personality, the closer I get to finding her face!
Sidekicks
To fill Ella's magical realism world, I am developing a variety of sidekicks to accompany her and represent a different set of emotions. Cora and Hartmut are Ella's main sidekicks but there will be many more fun characters. Many are designed with the "Shape" method from the Creative Character Series, read more about it here.

What's Next?
I’m currently laying the groundwork for the whole series in pre-production: diving into concept art, character design, and music & sound design! I’ve also been hitting the books on storytelling to refine and adjust the narrative. Since sound creation is brand new to me, I’ve been having a blast recording random sounds (watch my experiment) and familiarising myself with Waveform and plug-in instruments to make music.
Next up will be PreVis—eventually!—and testing out Moho to see if combining hand-drawn art with rigging helps streamline the actual production phase. In the meantime, I’m editing a YouTube video to give you a proper tour of the series. Stay tuned to see how all these pieces come together to bring Ella’s world to life!
