In the Making
Welcome to my indie studio, Tania Rosas Designs! This page is the most honest look at what I'm actively working on, what's live, and what's next. Things move fast (or sometimes very slowly!), so this is where you'll find the latest status on my creative experiments, tools, and tutorials.
Everything Ella
I am excited to introduce you to Everything Ella, my indie animated series of short stories. The show is about Ella, a girl, led by her curiosity, who embarks on transformative adventures with unexpected twists! ✨ Stay tuned for behind the scenes videos.
Character Development
The next step of Everything Ella is to finalise the characters: Ella and her sidekicks. For Ella, I am doing face studies and using my Idea Generator to help me come up with ideas for with facial expression and poses. For the sidekicks, I am testing the Pareidolia method, so using everyday objects to come up with unique characters.

Creative Experiments
Driven by random thoughts and my curiosity, in this section I share the latest "crazy" ideas I am experimenting with. These are things that are either new to me or I have no idea how they will turn out but part of the fun is trying something new and discovering the unknown.
Learning Moho for Speed and Sanity
Is rigging really faster than hand-drawn animation? One of the hardest things I animated when I started out was an Irish dancer on Adobe Fresco. Let's test if Moho's puppet rigging helps speed up the process and keep my sanity!

Practice, Tools & Epiphanies
Practising not only helps me improve my skills but also leads to aha moments and the creation of tools designed to solve a creative blocks I face. Here is some upcoming content I'll be sharing with you.
Visual Communication Practice
I dare say that visual communication is more important than drawing skills in art and even more in animation. I created my Idea Generator tool to challenge myself and this is the prompt I'd be tackling in an upcoming video: "Daring Wizard jumping over a puddle in a hidden rooftop (mood: impatience)". How would you visualise it?

Creative Character Workbook
For years, I've been collecting interesting everyday objects and shapes perfect for discovering unique characters with the Pareidolia method. Last Christmas, I created a calendar version for my family and friends to enjoy and now, I also want you to feel the magic of discovering unique character hiding in plain sight.

Animated Medieval Alphabet Series
The Animated Medieval Alphabet Series allows me to discover new movements to animate and their challenges. It also forces me to work within the constraints of a theme and art style.
The playlist contains the short animations created so far and tutorials sharing what I've learned with this project.

Practising Anatomy
I have been practicing anatomy and hands so that eventually these become second nature. I have learned that not all techniques work equally as well, I've needed to test a few before finding the one for me.

These are the recently completed projects ready for you to enjoy!
Is zero budget animation foley feasible?
I’m testing a theory: Can I own my animations 100% by creating my own sound effects with zero budget? Find out how my experiment went, the funny bloopers and I made a bird sound from a metal toilet paper hanger!
Pushing proportions with Caricatures
Are you stuck in the Perfectionist Trap? 🎨 I’m sharing why I traded "pretty" for "appeal" and how it changed my character designs.
Licencing
A limited number of my creations is available to licence via stock sites. I am currently exploring my options to expand the licencing of my art and animations.
