"Icelandic Landscape" Art Print

Due to the many volcano eruptions over the years, a lot of Iceland got covered in lava making their landscapes unique and different. This also impacts the vegetation that can grow in the country. 

In the wintertime, the sun rises around 10 am and sets around 3 pm. This means there is little sunlight which makes some of the landscape look quite monochrome at certain hours.

In this artwork, I captured Iceland's natural landscape while driving around Route 1, also known as the Ring Road. In Icelandic, it is called "Þjóðvegur 1" or "Hringvegur".
