Christmas Markets 2022 (Updated!)
It is incredible how time flies. It feels like only yesterday when I did my very first craft fair in Richmond Barracks in Inchicore (Dublin, Ireland) in December 2021. I fell in love with the interactive nature of doing markets, seeing people's faces light up when seeing my creations and connecting with people and likeminded traders. The joy continues this Christmas.
I'll be participating in A very Latin American Christmas market, Terenure Village Christmas market and Rathfarnham Castle Christmas market in 2022, see all the details below.
Upcoming Christmas Markets 2022
A very Latin American Christmas market - 19th Nov
Growing up in Germany, I didn't know all that many Latin American people. Only now, living in Ireland I am able to connect with people from so many different countries in Latin America.
The Venezuelan Community in Ireland has organised a Very Latin American Christmas market to bring people together from different Latin and Irish communities while offering a space to try new delicious food, music, dance performances, and handcrafted goods from the Latin American community and others.
Come to this market to get a taste of Latin America!

Terenure Bumper Village Christmas Market - 3rd Dec
If you are a regular at the Bushy Park Market (like me!) in Terenure then you cannot miss this out door Christmas market! Enjoy a relaxed family time with live entertainment, see what local shops have to offer and get your Christmas shopping done here.

Rathfarnham Castle Christmas Market - 10th Dec
This is the second time I participate at the Rathfarnham Castle Christmas Market where local makers showcase their creations at the gorgeous estate of the Rathfarnham Castle.
It was a fun and exciting experience as it was my first outdoor market with a gazebo and very strong Irish winds! Listen to the story in my video 15 craft fair tips for beginners.
Rathfarnham has a very special place in my heart, specially after the warm welcome of this community during the Dublin Canvas Project Community Street art "Fairy Forest" I completed in the 2022 summer. I'll be bringing prints and other goodies with the Fairy Forest design for you to take a piece of Rathfarnham with you.

Framexperts' Art for Christmas Exhibition from 10th-23rd Dec
Framexperts is having their 1st Edition Art for Christmas Exhibition and they are celebrating the opening this Saturday 10th of December from 4-6pm (I'll be there from 4-5). The exhibition will last until 23rd December.
The artists' work represented in this exhibition are: Hilary Kinahan, Louise Neiland, Linda Goodman, Mariel Art (who was exhibiting at People's Art the same days as me!), Caroline Canning, Pigsy, Monika Crowley, Lizett Art, Manuela Greco, Dana Soronika (who I met at the Plein Air festival this year!) and John Paul McCann.
How am I involved? The gallery room will be adorned with my Latin American, Irish and Christmas cards throughout the exhibition. This is also the last place to get hold of the card designs "Pollera de Panama" and Piñata Tree which are currently sold out on my website!
And since Framexperts is run by a Paraguayan family and friends, I made a special Paraguayan Christmas Card of their Bottle Dance.
